Paris Art photography gallery
La Maison de l’argentique is an online fine art photo gallery of film and polaroid photography.
All the images of travels or coming from productions are from the french artist photographer Cyril Manzini. The original prints available are numbered in limited edition.
The silver prints are created in his atelier and darkroom in Paris. There, he brings life to his analog photography on mat paper, thanks to traditional know-how. In the same unique place, he creates Polaroid reproductions thanks to pigment inks impressions.
Art collectors will find alternative process photography like the Fresson prints on art papers, color or black and white prints. Indeed, the author is very attached to painting, which is why he uses different techniques to obtain pastels tones for the image he has in mind and follow is aesthetic.
Portraitist, he likes to travel and photograph people who have lived, who tell a story through their eyes and who thus transmit an emotion.

This contemporary art gallery is made up of different kind of photos: landscape photography, street photography, animals or portraits captured during his various adventures. They make up the story of his encounters and poetic moments spent on the other side of the world. All these trips then feed him in order to create imaginaries. In this sense, his work as a fashion photographer leads him to photograph women for fashion advertising campaigns, to carry out nude studies, to study the fall of the garment on their bodies but also to photograph still life in his studio. In all these scenes, light plays a preponderant role that he strives to immortalize in the most subtle and elegant way possible.
He likes to shoot with his Rolleiflex or Mamiya 67 camera but in large format he takes time to feel the intensity of a scene in front of him before triggering.
La Maison de l’argentique is also an invitation to suspend the time and dream with pictures ! This is the mentality of the artist, who describes each creation as a long artistic walk, diving into the universe of analog photography.
